Parent Concern Flow Chart

At Maya Angelou French Immersion School, your partnership is vital to our students' success and well-being. To ensure your voices are heard and your questions are answered efficiently, we use a structured Parent Concern Flow Chart.

Why Use the Flow Chart?

  • Clear Communication: It directs your feedback to the right person immediately.
  • Fast Responses: Following these steps helps us meet the PGCPS policy requirement of a response within 48 hours.
  • Teamwork: It creates a collaborative path for parents and staff to solve problems together.

How it Works:

  1. Start Local: Share your concern with your child’s teacher or the directly involved staff member first.
  2. Follow the Path: If the issue isn't resolved, follow the chart's steps to escalate it to the appropriate school administrator.
  3. Find a Solution: We are committed to handling your concerns fairly, effectively, and promptly.
