We are so excited to welcome our new and returning families to the 2026-2027 School Year! The First Day of School is Tuesday, August 25th (Just 2 weeks from today!!). Read below for everything you need to know to get ready for the new school year!

🍎 Monday, August 24th - Student Orientation Day
- PGCPS Transportation is not provided
- Limit of two parents per student
- Parent/Guardian must attend with student
- Please visit Synergy ParentVUE for classroom teacher assignments beginning on August 12th.
- If you are unable to attend Orientation Day, grade level presentations will be posted on our sites.
- Parents attend with students at the designated times below:

8:45 a.m. Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
9:25 a.m. First and Second Grade
10:05 a.m. Third through Fifth Grade

🍎 Monday, September 7th- Labor Day – Schools and Offices Closed

🍎 Wednesday, September 9th - Back to School Night - 5:30 pm

Join us for a Meet & Greet.  New and returning families will be welcomed to stop by to meet the administrative team.  Principal Hay, Asst. Principal Galbraith, and Community School Coordinator Hubbard will look forward to meeting you!  Date and time to be announced in the near future.
