Welcome to C. Elizabeth Rieg Regional School where we remain committed to fostering excellence through our school’s vision and mission of preparing students for life outside of Rieg by building academics, communication, and life skills. Remember working collaboratively with our parents, guardians and students is vital to the work we do here.

  • Ensuring your child attends school each day
  • Keeping us informed of changes to your contact information, including email
  • Returning all requested forms and documents to school in a timely manner
  • Joining us regularly for parent support opportunities, and
  • Establishing/Solidifying our Home-School Connection and Partnership through regular communication
  • Reviewing our Student Handbook for all of our policies and procedures

iPads will continue to be used as a part of the instructional day. Please ensure your child’s device is with him/her each day for school. Visit our Technology Help page for assistance with devices, student accounts, and programs our students use regularly.

As we embark on another exciting school year, we are thrilled to welcome you and your child to or back to C. Elizabeth Rieg School. Your partnership is crucial to ensuring a successful and enriching educational experience for your child, and we are committed to working together to achieve this.

To help us create the best possible learning environment, we kindly ask for your support in the following areas:

  • Daily Attendance: Ensuring your child attends school every day when not ill is vital for their academic progress. Consistent attendance helps them stay engaged and keeps their learning on track.
  • Punctuality: By arriving on time, you help your child participate in a full day of learning, set a positive tone, and maximize their educational opportunities. Note: students’ school day is 7:30 am - 1:40 pm.
  • Updated Contact Information: Keeping us informed of any changes to your contact information, including email, ensures we can promptly communicate important updates and information.
  • Prompt Return of Forms and Documents: Returning all requested forms and documents to school promptly helps us maintain accurate records and support your child's needs effectively.
  • Parent Support and Involvement: Joining us regularly for PTO meetings and other parent support opportunities strengthens our school community and enhances your child’s educational experience.
  • Positive Communication: Communicating regularly and positively with your child’s teacher(s) fosters a collaborative environment that benefits your child’s learning and development.

We are excited to offer a variety of in-person parent and family engagement events throughout the year, including Back-to-School Night, the Winter/Holiday program, Men Make a Difference, Challenge Day, Muffins for Mom, and the End-of-the-Year Recognition program. These events are wonderful opportunities to connect and engage with our school community. We have health guidelines in place to continue promoting a safe school environment. Please keep your child at home if sick to prevent the spread of illness. Additionally, school visits and observations are by appointment only, limited to 30 minutes, and must be coordinated with Mrs. Burnside, our professional school counselor, and the classroom teacher.

  • Fall Read-a-Thon Fundraiser & Men Make a Difference Learning Opportunity in October
