7th Grade Administrator
Ms. Tamekia Lewis has been in Middle Grades Education for over twenty years. She graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Middle Grades Education and began her teaching career in North Carolina Public Schools. During her tenure, Ms. Lewis worked as a mathematics teacher, department chair, team leader, Algebraic Thinking Coach, and advisory committee member. Ms. Lewis moved to Prince George’s County in 2017 and served as a Mathematics Literacy Coach for six years. Ms. Lewis received a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education, Grades 6–8, from Walden University.
As an administrator, Ms. Lewis believes in creating a positive learning environment that fosters relationships conducive to educating and empowering the school community.
