About Professional School Counseling Services

Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) Professional School Counseling Services follow the model recommended by the American School Counseling Association to deliver comprehensive school counseling services to address the academic, career, personal/social development for all students. Our counseling programs are structured to be an integral part of students’ daily educational environment.

The Professional School Counseling Office collaborates with other offices, teachers, administrators, and the overall community to benefit students and parents.

ParentVUE Resources for Parents

ParentVUE is Coming Soon

PGCPS will be transitioning away from our current student information system this summer and implementing Synergy, on July 22, 2024. Student enrollment and registration for School Year 2024-2025 has been paused during the final stage of implementation and will resume on July 22nd.  For more information on student registration and enrollment once the Synergy student information system reopens on July 22nd, please visit www.pgcps.org/registration.

August 19, 2024 - ParentVue available to parents (full scheduling)
