Dr. Richard F. Belton began his career in education nearly two decades ago in Prince George's County Public Schools. In that time he has served as a math teacher, curriculum writer, instructional lead teacher, professional development lead teacher, summer school regional administrator, assistant principal, and Principal.  Dr. Belton is a product of Prince George's County Public schools and attended Longfields Elementary, Walker Mill Middle School, and Suitland High School.

Dr. Belton holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Morgan State University, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College, and a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education. He is a lifelong learner who believes in the importance of maintaining integrity and modeling expectations for professionalism while shaping and molding the leaders of tomorrow.
