Adolescent Single Parent Program (ASPP)

Adolescent Single Parent Program (ASPP) falls under the Department of Career and Technical Education, to provide services to teen parents (male/female) in all Prince George’s County Public Schools.  ASPP provides a system of support for pregnant and parenting teens to reduce the risk of future child abuse and neglect, through increased parenting skills.  ASPP students will be afforded resources and /or training to help them to achieve a high school diploma and post-secondary education. In person and virtual monthly workshops are provided to students. In order to have outreach at all high schools (elementary & middle schools are serviced on a case-by-case basis), a school appointed contact and the ASPP Liaison will identify and provide service support to the pregnant & parenting students within their school.
