We ask that parents and guardians make an appointment prior to visiting the school. Please contact the educator, counselor or administrator to set up a meeting. You can email the staff member or call the main office (301-702-3800) to do so. Email contact is recommended.
Please be advised, if you were interested in volunteering at our school or attending field trips, all volunteers must be fingerprinted and have a commercial background check. Since Hillcrest Heights is a 100% free breakfast and lunch Title I School, the fingerprint background check fee of $61.00 will be waived.
In order for this fee to be waived, you need to contact the Food and Nutrition office at 301-952-6517 to request a copy of the free & reduced lunch letter for your child/ren. They will mail you a copy of the free and reduce letter for your child/ren. You may also pick up a copy of this letter from their office directly. The Food Nutrition office is located at the Facility Administration Building, 13300 Old Marlboro Pike, Trailer (T3) Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
Upon receiving or picking up your letter, please take this letter with you to the fingerprinting office. Their office is located at, Sasscer Administration Building 14201 School Lane, Room 128 Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20772.
