Hello Hillcrest Heights families! My name is Sheniqua Fulford, and I am the proud mother of a thriving, rising fifth-grade scholar here at HHES, as well as the current Vice President of our PTA.
Ever since my son enrolled as a kindergartener, I have dedicated my time as a school volunteer, building deep, meaningful relationships with our amazing students, parents, and staff. Because the welfare of our children is my top priority, I have been an active leader in our PTA since those early days, working to ensure every child has what they need to succeed.
Beyond the classroom, I proudly volunteer with the school’s Judy Center, advocating for local families and helping connect community members with essential resources like food and diapers. Hillcrest Heights is a true Community School, and I do my best to ensure our wider neighborhood is included in our school activities. In today's society, it truly takes a village to raise a child, and we are building that village right here.
Recently, I was honored to be asked to join the HHES Steering Committee. For me, this invitation was a powerful sign that my voice is being heard and that my presence is making a tangible impact within the school. From a parent's perspective, I have felt nothing but welcomed and genuinely cared for since day one. I especially love how HHES continues to stay in touch and communicate with our scholars long after they move on to secondary education.
I am so invested in our school's future, and I look forward to continuing to serve, connect, and grow with all of you!
