As a mom and someone who has dedicated more than 20 years to accounting, serving as Treasurer for Hillcrest Heights Elementary School (HHES) felt like a natural fit for me. By trade, I am a Staff Accountant for a non-profit organization, and I bring hands-on experience with all of the responsibilities that come with this role.
I truly enjoy working with numbers and solving puzzles, which makes this position not only manageable, but genuinely rewarding. It allows me to use my professional skills in a meaningful way that directly supports our children and school community.
The PTA plays a vital role at Hillcrest Heights Elementary School by bridging the gap between school and home. It creates a space where parents can communicate, collaborate, and contribute to the growth and success of our school. Having that connection is essential to building a strong, supportive environment for our students.
I look forward to helping establish impactful programs and securing funds that will provide meaningful activities and opportunities for our students and families. When we come together and function as a family, we create the foundation for a thriving school community.
