We hope that you and your scholar are experiencing a positive and productive start to the quarter. At Flowers, we deeply value the partnership between home and school, and we recognize that our scholars thrive most when families and educators work together to support their academic growth, wellbeing, and sense of belonging. Thank you for your continued involvement, encouragement, and engagement—it truly makes a difference each day.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place this Tuesday, offering both in-person and virtual opportunities to meet with your scholar’s teachers.
This is an important chance to review academic progress, ask questions, and set clear goals for the next quarter.

Please schedule early to secure times that work best for your family.
We encourage all families to take advantage of our after-school tutoring program, available for students in need of additional instructional support, content review, or homework assistance. Certified staff and peer tutors are available to help students strengthen their understanding and build confidence in their classes.
Tutoring Information & Schedule:
Participation in tutoring can make a meaningful difference in both performance and academic stamina.
Over the next several weeks, students will be taking benchmark assessments in most Math, English, Science, and Social Studies courses.
These assessments:
Measure how well students are mastering the curriculum content.
Inform teachers about areas where students may need targeted support.
Help us adjust instruction to improve learning outcomes for all scholars.
Prepare students for state assessments and end-of-year evaluations.
We ask families to encourage scholars to:
Get a good night’s sleep.
Arrive to school on time.
Charge their devices fully.
Put forth their best focused effort.
Benchmarks are not just tests—they are an important part of making sure scholars are on track for success.
