Areas of Responsibility

The Education Support Professionals Staffing Office oversees the complete hiring process for Permanent (non-instructional), Substitute, and Temporary Support employees in Centrally Managed positions. We work closely with prospective employees and job seekers, current employees and Central Office Management and school leadership.

About Education Support Professionals Positions

Education support personnel play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the PGCPS organization, providing essential services across various functions such as administration, health care, transportation, facilities maintenance, food services, safety and security, as well as technical support. Their contributions help maintain the organization's day-to-day activities and support those engaged in core business functions.

Centrally managed support staff positions are members of the ACE-AFSCME Local 2250 or the SEIU Local 400 union bargaining units.
