Welcome Back Whitehall Families!
I hope you and your family are enjoying a safe, relaxing, and memorable summer. While there is still time to enjoy vacations, family activities, and well-deserved downtime, I wanted to take this opportunity to warmly welcome everyone to the 2026–2027 school year.
My name is Dr. Cynthia E. Farmer, and I am honored to serve as the proud Principal of Whitehall Elementary School. Joining me is our Assistant Principal, Mr. Brian Cuvo. Together, we are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and achievement.
WE ARE WHITEHALL!
More importantly, we are a community that believes in the power of relationships, collaboration, and supporting one another.
Whether your family is joining Whitehall for the first time or returning for another wonderful year, we are thrilled to welcome you. Our dedicated staff is eager to reconnect with our returning scholars and meet our newest members of the Whitehall family. We look forward to building meaningful partnerships with families, creating positive learning experiences for students, and providing high-quality instruction in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Last school year, our scholars demonstrated significant academic growth across all content areas, and we could not be prouder of their accomplishments. As we prepare for the year ahead, our team is already hard at work planning engaging learning opportunities and creating conditions that will help every child thrive.
At Whitehall, we firmly believe that student success is a shared responsibility. The strongest outcomes occur when schools and families work together toward common goals. Our teachers and staff are committed to investing their time, expertise, and energy into helping every scholar reach their full potential. However, the partnership between home and school is what truly strengthens a child's educational experience.
Throughout the year, we will continue fostering a culture where kindness, responsibility, respect, and citizenship are valued and practiced daily. We will challenge our scholars to grow academically while also developing their talents in the creative arts and becoming confident, compassionate members of our school community.
Families play a critical role in this journey. Encouraging meaningful conversations, reading together, exploring parks and museums, enjoying nature walks, limiting screen time, and discussing your child's goals and aspirations are all valuable ways to support learning beyond the classroom. These everyday experiences help children develop curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
When families and educators work as one team, our scholars are empowered to become critical thinkers, problem-solvers, responsible digital citizens, and caring leaders. Together, we can ensure that every Whitehall scholar experiences success.
This year, we will continue our commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and inclusive school environment where all children feel valued, supported, and inspired to learn. Whitehall is more than a school—it is a family, and every member of our community plays an important role in helping our scholars succeed.
Thank you in advance for your partnership and support as we continue "Educating Children Beyond Expectations."
Because at Whitehall, excellence happens when we work together!
We are….......WHITEHALL!
