I am Dr. Toi Davis, and I have had the privilege of serving as the principal of University Park Elementary School since August 2014. My journey in education began as an elementary classroom teacher, where I gained invaluable experience working with diverse learners and understanding the importance of inclusive practices.

Throughout my career, I have been a staunch advocate for creating a learning environment that celebrates and embraces the uniqueness of every student. My philosophy revolves around student-centered learning, recognizing that each learner has their own set of strengths, needs, and learning styles. I firmly believe in providing a nurturing and inclusive space where every student feels valued, respected, and supported on their educational journey.

Under my leadership, University Park Elementary School has become a shining example of inclusive education. The staff and I have worked tirelessly to implement strategies and initiatives that prioritize the voices and needs of all students. By fostering collaboration and professional development among our exceptional team of teachers and staff, we have created a positive and collaborative school culture.

My dedication to being a champion of inclusion for all learners and my unwavering commitment to student-centered learning have defined my career as an educator. Since taking on the role of principal at University Park Elementary School, I have been able to make a positive impact on the lives of countless students and educators. It is truly a privilege to lead such a remarkable institution, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue advocating for educational excellence and empowering students to reach their full potential.
