The counseling department at Paint Branch E.S. is dedicated to providing comprehensive systemic programs, promoting prevention and intervention activities, and designing and teaching structured counseling lessons. The counselor is committed to developing a counseling program that is data-driven to create systemic change and support all students in the least restrictive manner. The counselor also promotes and collaborates with partners and stakeholders and promote a college-going culture for academic achievement.

How to set up a Parent-Teacher Conference
Parent Teacher Conferences are by appointments only between the hours of 8:15 - 8:45 AM or after 3:30 PM.
If you would like to meet with ALL of your child's teachers you should contact your child's counselor by email to schedule an appointment.
If you would like to meet with only one or two of your child's teachers, contact your child's teacher by calling the Main Office at 301-513-5300 or by emailing the classroom teacher directly. SEE STAFF EMAIL LIST BELOW.
If for some reason you will be late or unable to attend your conference please contact the main office and send an email to the classroom teacher immediately.
Monitoring student progress:
Parents/Guardians please complete the parent self-service registration process to log into SchoolMax Family Portal. If you do not have a self-service registered account, register.
If you are unable to register or have any questions about this process, please contact the Family Portal Administrator at your child's school.
