AVID, which stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination, is an organization that helps prepare students for college. AVID helps students become more organized. It also encourages students to answer higher-level thinking questions and develop college -level writing skills. The goal of these classes is to prepare students for college life. Students Join to boost their chance of college admission. Students join to gain organizational skills and build good habits needed to earn good grades.
