You must complete a separate registration form for EACH AP course in which you plan to enroll for next year. Pick up your AP Course Application
It is important for you to know that there are strict prerequisites to register for an AP course which are stated on the Course Application sheet. It is your teacher’s decision whether or not to recommend you based on these prerequisite guidelines, and whether or not to share that information with you. Once you give your teacher the course application, you will NOT get it back; this form is confidential.

Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) aims to provide all students with an opportunity to engage in rigorous instruction through Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Taking AP courses allows students to engage in classes that are taught on a college level and designed to prepare them for the rigors of college work.
To support this goal, the staff at DuVal High School would like to invite you and your students to the upcoming Advanced Placement Academic Showcase scheduled for February 6, 2024. During the showcase, parents and students will have the opportunity to learn more about the Advanced Placement program, hear from students, and meet with teachers, guidance staff, and administrators.
