Vision

Our vision at Brandywine Elementary School is to equip each student with the opportunity to reach his/her potential within a safe and supportive environment.  We will empower him/her to become academically and socially successful members of society and to become College and Career Ready through a partnership of students, parents, and the community.    

Mission

To achieve this vision, the mission of the administration and staff is to:         

• Create an environment that increases teacher capacity through collaboration and professional development;         
• Instill high expectations in all students through recognition and celebration;         
• Frequently monitoring student progress through data;         
• Make data-driven decisions for staff and students;         
• Provide a safe and orderly environment;         
• Establish effective home-school communication; and         
•  Increase parent and community involvement.    

Goals    

• Leaving second grade; all students need to be reading on grade levels         
• Effective collaborative planning meetings         
• Making instructional decisions based on data         
• All fifth graders; leaving us strong in multiplication facts         
• Truly differentiating instruction
