Welcome Back to a New School Year!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome back to a new and exciting school year! I hope you all had a wonderful summer break filled with relaxation and family time. As we prepare to welcome our students back, I wanted to share some important updates and information.
New School Hours:
Please note that our school hours have changed. This year, the school day will begin at 9:30 AM and end at 3:40 PM. Students will be permitted to enter the building starting at 9:15 AM. We kindly ask that you plan your drop-offs accordingly to ensure a smooth start to the day.
Welcome Our New Assistant Principal:
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Dawn Riddick as our new Assistant Principal. Dr. Riddick brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our school community. We invite you to stop by the cafeteria during our Scholar Sneak Peek event to meet her in person.
TAG Pullout Program:
We are excited to announce that we will be moving to a TAG (Talented and Gifted) Pullout Program this year. More information will be coming home soon to the families of our Talented and Gifted students, outlining the details and how the program will support their unique learning needs.
Check Synergy for Homeroom Assignments:
Please be sure to check Synergy for your child's Homeroom teacher assignment before the start of the school year. This will help ensure that your child knows where to go on the first day and starts the year off on the right foot.
Our Focus This Year:
This year, our focus will be on differentiation to ensure that we provide each and every one of our scholars with individualized instruction that meets their needs, scaffolds their learning, and challenges them to reach their full potential. Our goal is to create an inclusive and supportive
environment where all students can thrive.
We are looking forward to a fantastic school year ahead, filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences. Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's education. Together, we will make this a great year!
Warm regards,
Ms. Amanda Alerich
Principal
