The Department of Specialty Programs and The Arts, in partnership with the William S. Schmidt Center, is excited to announce the 4th Annual Eco-Action Art Contest! This contest invites students to create original 2D artwork that reflects their understanding of climate change and actions to protect our planet.
The theme, "Climate Heroes: Taking Actions to Protect Our Planet," encourages participants to think critically about environmental issues and express their creativity. Entries will be judged based on the environmental message, visual presentation, and craftsmanship.
Winners will be selected from each region (North, Central, and South) for each grade level division, with a total of 15 winners. The divisions are:
The electronic entry deadline is Friday, December 20 (the last day before Winter Break). Winners will be alerted Monday, January 31 via email.
