In Full Bloom: Nominate a PGCPS Woman Who Inspires 🌸

In Full Bloom, Honoring Women Who Inspire, Women's History Month

For Women's History Month, we’re giving some incredible women across our district their flowers — those who are making their mark right now. Don't miss the inspiring words shared by colleagues about their excellence.

Women's History Month 2026

Herstory is made one day at a time. This Women’s History Month, help us recognize the women across our district who are in full bloom now and making an impact today that will be remembered tomorrow!

We are seeking nominations for staff and teachers who inspire, lead and uplift their school communities through their dedication and excellence.

Your nomination helps ensure their contributions are seen, celebrated and appreciated.

Why wait for history? Give a colleague flowers today!

Submit your nomination by March 13.

Another Way to Get Involved:

Bloom Where You Work

Not big on social media? Skip the scroll and spread the love right where you are. Download our printable flower template below, add a note of appreciation for a female colleague and “plant” it on their classroom door or office.

Let’s grow a garden of gratitude across our schools! Share photos of your school or office in bloom to be featured in our community web gallery and/or across PGCPS channels.

Thank you for helping us honor the remarkable women who help our district thrive each day.

How to Participate in the Bloom Where You Work Project:

  1. Print the Template: Click the link above, scroll to the second page and print out as many “Flower Templates” as you’d like.
  2. Write Your Note: In the white space provided, write a quick message of appreciation to your colleague. Whether it’s a “thank you” for a shared success or a note on their daily impact, your words matter!
  3. “Plant” the Appreciation: Take your completed note and tape it to the recipient’s classroom door or office cubicle wall. Let’s see how many “gardens” we can grow on the doors, desks, and classrooms across our district!
  4. Share the Moment: Take a photo of the note on the door or cubicle! Post it to social media and tag PGCPS on Instagram and LinkedIn so we can celebrate these highlights across our entire community.
