Welcome to the 2023-2024 Academic year at Vansville Elementary School!
I am excited and humbled to introduce myself as the newly appointed Acting Principal of Vansville Elementary School. It is truly my privilege to serve the Vansville school community in this capacity and I hope you are as excited as I am for the 2023-2024 school year!
I begin my 26th year in education leading a school community that I have called home for the last three years. The last decade I have proudly served the PGCPS community as a classroom teacher, data coach and assistant principal. I arrived at Vansville Elementary School during the 2020-2021 academic year as the assistant principal. I have come to love the VES community like family and I am eager to embark on this journey of learning and growing together.
I am committed to academic excellence and will ensure that we maintain a culture of care for our students, families and staff members while demonstrating equity and excellence. With our dynamic staff, committed community members, and families, we will empower our students and foster a love for learning.
Again, I am humbled and privileged to serve as Vansville’s principal. I am looking forward to meeting new faces and getting reacquainted with familiar members of our school community in the upcoming weeks. Together we will grow lifelong learners who are Respectful, Organized, Accountable and Ready to Learn!
