School hours are 7:25 am to 1:40 pm. Students will enter the building from the front door and line up in the front hallway. Students may enter the building and line up as early as 7:15 am. Bus riders are admitted to class without penalty of tardiness should the bus arrive late to school. Students will be permitted to eat breakfast.
Parents may walk students to class prior to 8:00 am after signing into the Raptor System in the Main Office. Classroom visits cease after 8:00 am because instruction has occurred. Should a parent wish to visit the class, they are asked to arrange the visit with the teacher ahead of time. Visits must be approved by the principal/designee and non-disruptive to instruction per PGCPS Administrative Procedure 0500.
Dismissal for all students is at 1:40 PM. Early dismissal ends at 1:30 PM to ensure a safe and accurate departure for all students.
Van riders and aftercare students are released from class first. Van riders should report to Room 104. Aftercare students should report to the multipurpose room.
Bus riders will exit through the front door with bus captains and board their assigned buses upon arrival.
Walkers are dismissed from the rear door on the blacktop. They will walk down the ramp and continue on the sidewalk to go home.
Car riders are dismissed from the rear door on the blacktop. Parents may park on Lewis Avenue and Lacy Avenue only. Parking is not permitted in the cul-de-sac or in the front driveway at any time.
