Students are expected to attend a full day of school each day. Instruction ends at 1:40 PM. Parents are encouraged to schedule medical appointments after school hours whenever possible.
When an early dismissal is necessary, a written note is required. The note must include the date, time, and reason for the early departure and should be given to the teacher first thing in the morning. Any changes to a student’s dismissal plan must also be submitted in writing to the teacher, who will share the information with the main office.
If someone other than a parent/guardian will be picking up your child, written authorization must be provided to the school. (If there are custody concerns, please notify both the teacher and the main office.) These procedures help ensure the safety of all students.
Students will not be allowed to leave the building unescorted or without written parental consent. The parent or authorized adult picking up the student must report to the main office and sign the student out.
Early dismissals are not permitted after 1:30 PM.
