Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Samuel Ogle Middle School! We are very excited about the work that we will do together. We are counting on your continued partnership as we strive to accelerate the progress that each of our students will make during the coming year.
This year we will continue to articulate a mindset that declares that all students will achieve at high levels-given quality instruction, positive relationships, and sustained, consistent, and effective effort. We take seriously the responsibility of creating an environment where students are valued, educated, empowered, inspired, included and engaged every day! This year, our school theme is “Game Changer” and we will be eager to be Champions of Change for your child’s education. Please join us in building relationships and partnerships in the educational opportunities that will exist this school year.
Enclosed you will find various forms to be completed and returned to your child’s homeroom teacher by September 15, 2024. Please note that each form must be completed in its entirety and signed by a parent or legal guardian. The information required to complete the Emergency Contact Form is very important to maintaining the safety of your child. Current home, business and emergency telephone numbers are critical in order for the school to be able to contact you at any time. The phone numbers and email information will permit us to assure that you and your family will receive information about Samuel Ogle and community activities and events. We have advanced into the age of technology and we use email and call-out messages and post our newsletter on-line instead of sending home paper notices. The Emergency Contact Form will be located in the main office. Only the person/persons listed on your child’s form will be allowed to pick up your child unless prior arrangements are made, in writing. The designated person/persons must enter the main office and show proper identification in order for us to release your child. It is very important to include all those adults who you will give permission to pick up your child. Students will not be released to anyone who is not listed as an authorized person.
We are excited to work with your child this year and we look forward to forming essential partnerships with you during the 2024 - 2025 school year.

¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2024-2025 en la Escuela Intermedia Samuel Ogle! Estamos muy entusiasmados con el trabajo que haremos juntos. Contamos con su continua colaboración mientras nos esforzamos por acelerar el progreso que cada uno de nuestros estudiantes hará durante el próximo año.
Este año seguiremos articulando una mentalidad que declara que todos los alumnos alcanzarán niveles elevados, siempre que reciban una enseñanza de calidad, mantengan relaciones positivas y realicen un esfuerzo sostenido, constante y eficaz. Nos tomamos muy en serio la responsabilidad de crear un entorno en el que los alumnos se sientan valorados, educados, capacitados, inspirados, incluidos y comprometidos todos los días. Este año, el tema de nuestra escuela es «Game Changer» y estaremos ansiosos de ser Campeones del Cambio para la educación de su hijo/a. Por favor, únase a nosotros en la construcción de relaciones y asociaciones en las oportunidades educativas que existirán este año escolar.
Adjunto encontrará varios formularios que debe completar y devolver al maestro de su hijo antes del 15 de septiembre de 2024. Tenga en cuenta que cada formulario debe ser completado en su totalidad y firmado por un padre o tutor legal. Hemos avanzado en la era de la tecnología y utilizamos el correo electrónico y mensajes de llamada y publicamos nuestro boletín en línea en lugar de enviar avisos en papel a casa. El Formulario de Contacto de Emergencia estará localizado en la oficina principal. Sólo las personas indicadas en el formulario de su hijo/a podrán recoger a su hijo/a a menos que se hayan hecho arreglos previos, por escrito. La persona/personas designadas deben entrar a la oficina principal y mostrar identificación apropiada para que podamos entregar a su hijo/a.
