Music Program

The Oxon Hill Music Department has an enriching program whose purpose is for students to learn to appreciate music as an active and joyful experience for a lifelong love of music.

Students grades K-5 have music for 30 minutes 5 days every two weeks. During that time students:

• Hear and understand many types of music
• Develop a music vocabulary
• Sing and play musical instruments
• Move and create music
