Greetings Montpelier Elementary Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! There is nothing quite like the energy of a fresh start, and the team at Montpelier Elementary is officially geared up and ready to roll.
To our returning families: welcome back! We can't wait to see how much your scholars have grown and to continue partnering with you. To our new families: a massive welcome to the Montpelier community! We know that changing schools or starting a new chapter can feel like a whirlwind, but please know our entire staff is here to make your student's transition seamless, supportive, and fun.
We are fully committed to delivering a robust, engaging curriculum that challenges and inspires our students every day. Let’s make this an incredible year together!
We cannot do this without each and every one of you. This year, one of our top priorities is to increase our overall attendance percentage. To make sure our scholars are walking through our doors on time and on a regular basis, we are teaming up in a big way.
Our school counselor, parent engagement assistant, and school community coordinator are working hand-in-hand this year to support our families. We know that consistent attendance directly drives both academic success and social-emotional growth. Through this strong partnership, we can ensure every student has the tools and support they need to show up ready to learn every single day.
Our first day of school for students will be on August 25, 2026. Teachers will be setting up ClassDojo to help make this a smooth and seamless start. Please ensure that we have all updated information for you and your student on file, including: email address, home address, and phone number(s). We will need a variety of ways to stay in contact.
