Welcome Back To SY’ 24-25! I hope that every student family had a relaxing and rewarding Summer Break. It’s time to start another great school year at Hollywood ES. As you know, we’ve transitioned our Pre-Kindergarteners to Kindergarten and our 5th graders to middle school. We are very excited to begin the school year with those students that enroll in our boundary and zoning changes. Please rest assured that Hollywood ES is still dedicated and committed to ensuring that all of our student families are safe, healthy, and ever-learning as we navigate our continued teaching and learning efforts for the beginning of this school year.
Please help us welcome our new theme, “Our Adventure Awaits Towards A Passport For Advanced Progress”!!! this school year. Please be advised that we are a Community School and PBIS School. We have made significant changes for you to attend and participate in our PTA nominations and elections, Principal's 2nd Cup of Coffee events, Spanish to English classes, Enrichment Parent Information Nights, CS Food Bank Shopping Days, CS Food Distributions, CS Comfort Clothing Closet Drives, and various opportunities for our student families to attend and participate in this semester. We also encourage you to enroll your child(ren) in our afterschool activities such as the Sandbridge Early Learning Center (SELC) everyday, Hollywood Homework Club, and the Hollywood Art Club afterschool for the school year. Please check-in either with myself for the SELC enrollment and our Community School Coordinator, Ms. Carina Ferreira, for more details.
Please be advised that our goal is to continue to meet the needs of every student family. Please remember in order to have and improve the communal setting at Hollywood Elementary School we MUST communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders (our staff, students, parents, and community members) to achieve our PASSPORT for ADVANCED PROGRESS for the 2024-2025 school year.
I would like to know that we will be operating at earlier times this school year. All scholars, your child(ren), are expected to come to school daily. Our school climate and culture expectations with positive and effective parental communication and engagement for our students is what we strive to achieve to promote high academic and social growth.
