Greetings, High Point High School Families and Students,

As we prepare to launch the 2026–2027 school year. Before the first day of school, Tuesday, August 25, 2026, we are excited to invite all students to High Point High School for Acclimation Week, taking place Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 14, 2026.

Attending on your assigned date is critical to ensuring a seamless transition into the upcoming academic year. Students should plan for a brief 10-to-15-minute visit to receive essential materials, including an official student photo ID, a clear backpack, and academic resources. Chromebook distribution will also be conducted for students new to High Point High School, as well as those needing to exchange a malfunctioning device.

What Students Should Bring & Prepare

To help our team process student IDs and supplies efficiently, please follow these guidelines upon arrival:

  1. Have the Synergy StudentVUE/ParentVUE app open on a mobile phone, or bring the student’s full name and Student ID number written down.
  2. Ensure the student is wearing their required grade-level uniform polo.
  3. Bring any malfunctioning Chromebook and charger if exchanging a device.

We look forward to welcoming our students back to campus and laying the groundwork for a successful school year. If you have any questions, please contact the main office.

Respectfully,

Dr. Miguel Chacón
