Hello Families!
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. I hope you are as excited as we are to embark on a new year of learning, growing, and having fun. We are looking forward to seeing all of the familiar faces as well as learning all the new faces. We have so much instore for you throughout the upcoming school year. I will continue with Perspective with the Principal,where monthly I will share updates with you and provide time for you to ask me questions. We will engage in Family Date Nights, which is a time for families to come out and have fun together. A huge hit last year were our content Parent Night where teachers shared activities about math, reading, science, and summer slide.
We will communicate with you often. Our main source of communication will be Class Dojo. You want to sign up when the teachers send you the link. Teachers will send home newsletters monthly. We also want to hear from you, so be sure to complete our surveys. It is important for us to hear your voice.
Here are some important dates and times.
- Friday, August 23, 2024
- PreK and Kindergarten Orientation- 12:15-1:00 p.m.
- Meet and Greet for all students 1:00-3:00. Students will meet their teachers and see their classrooms. Families will pick up supplies for home and enjoy the fun activities on the playground.
- Monday, August 26, 2024
- First day of school- school hours 9:30 a.m.-3:40 p.m. If your child is riding the bus, be sure to arrive early to the bus stop. Please do not drop off your child before 9:15 a.m.
- Thursday, September 19, 2024
- Back to School Night- 5:30-7:30 p.m.
