Frederick Douglass was selected in 2017 to be the first and only high school in PGCPS to offer the Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) program. The P-TECH program provides college classes to high school students both at the high school and on campus at PGCC. The curriculum is designed to complete the required classes to earn a Maryland High School Diploma and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree simultaneously.
