Welcome Back to Francis T. Evans Elementary School for the 2026-2027 School Year! This page contains important Back-to-School information for families.
Orientation for parents and students in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten will be held on Monday, August 24. Here is the schedule:
Pre-Kindergarten 8-8:45 a.m.
Kindergarten - 9-9:45 a.m.
Sneak-a-Peak for Grades 1-5 - 10-11:30 a.m.
Please adhere to the appointed time, as staff will not be available outside of the predetermined time-frame. We also encourage families to bring their student supplies to orientation.
Please make sure that you fill out the Transportation Form to let staff know how your student(s) will get back and forth to school on the first day. This form is important for you to fill out and return to the school so that we can have a smooth transition from school to home during the first several days of the new school year.
Please make sure that you are downloading the workshop session QR codes from New Parent/Student Orientation. The session information will be available in Class Dojo near the end of the first week of school for those who may have missed the information sessions on Synergy/Parent Vue, English Language Development, Community Schools, Attendance, Transportation/Pik My Kid app, and School Visits/Volunteering.
Additional information will be sent out letting parents know about the free virtual health visits with Hazel Health, how to add money to lunch accounts and filling out the Free and Reduced Meal application.
