Greetings Families!
Welcome back to the 2024-20225 school year! My name is Dr. Ryan Daniel and I am the proud principal of Fort Foote Elementary School where the #PrideAtTheFort is strong! I have served Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) for the last 18 years and I am excited for the upcoming school year as we continue to Reimagine Education for our Bears! I believe in creating an atmosphere that allows students to grow and develop as critical thinkers and productive members of their community. Through collaboration and open communication, we will create a school culture that celebrates diversity and provides equity to all students. In order to ensure academic success, we will work alongside our community partners to create a safe and positive learning environment. By meeting our students’ academic, social and emotional needs, we will continue making Fort Foote Elementary School a place where students believe in education and reach for success.
We ask that you guide and support your child's learning by ensuring that he/she:
- Arrives to school on time each day.
- Completes all homework assignments given by teachers.
- Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills.
- Shares school experiences with you so that you are aware of his/her school life.
- Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject.
