Born and raised in Montgomery County Maryland, Ms. Hogan has always had a love and desire to be an educator. Ms. Hogan attended Frostburg State University where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Minor in Sociology. Ms. Hogan has served as a special education teacher, honors RELA teacher, AVID Coordinator, mathematics department chairperson, curriculum writer for the county's mathematics department, and mentor teach

Harvey Powell

7th Grade

With a transformational leadership style, Harvey Powell collaboratively works with building and community stakeholders to create an environment that allows students to thrive academically and socially. A graduate of the University of Maryland, with a Master’s from Grand Canyon University, Mr. Powell has always been a part of the Prince George’s County community and believes in continuing to improve the future of its students. Having served in different capacities, such as RELA general education teacher, special education chairperson, and equity lead teacher, he believes in nurturing a culture that provides each student the opportunity to maximize their abilities.
