The purpose of Mock Trial is to develop and promote students’ questioning skills, critical thinking, public speaking skills, and teamwork: demonstrate the roles of various actors in the legal system through live simulation of trial court; and provide the team with exposure to legal resource people, such as judges, attorneys, and law school students. |

The CHS green school Agric Show Program is an enrichment activity based on crop cultivation and agricultural techniques. The focus is on planting, growing and harvesting agricultural products such as okra, blueberries, cabbage, pepper and other exotic garden crops from all over the world.

Description of the program |
Book Club will meet Tuesdays for one hour after school. The first three Tuesdays of the month will be “reading” days, where we can settle into the library and read independently, chatting informally about topics in the book as they come up. The final Tuesday of the month will be the “discussion” day, when we formally discuss the book. The purpose of this activity is to engage students in reading for enjoyment in order to build an appreciation for life-long learning and a more solid foundation for literacy. |
