Accokeek Academy is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment where every student feels valued and supported. Throughout the month, we will encourage students to stand up against bullying, practice kindness, include others, and speak with a trusted adult when they see or experience bullying. Together, we can build a school community where everyone belongs.

Each year, from September 15 through October 15, Hispanic Heritage Month honors the rich histories, cultures, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. At Accokeek Academy, we proudly recognize the Hispanic and Latino students, families, leaders, artists, educators, and changemakers who strengthen our community and enrich our nation.
