Become an Attendance Ambassador
Attendance matters—and it remains a top priority for our district because being in school every day is essential to student success. This work is about showing up—FOR our students and WITH our community. Across our district, we’re bringing stakeholders together through meet-and-greets and ongoing conversations to strengthen attendance and support every learner.
As part of this effort, we are launching our Attendance Ambassador Program—inviting partners and community members to take an active role in this work. Attendance Ambassadors are champions for student success, helping to promote the importance of showing up every day and building stronger connections between schools and the community.
Becoming an Attendance Ambassador is simple—commit to the cause, partner with your local schools, and use your platform to reinforce the message that attendance matters. As an Ambassador, you will:
- Champion attendance as a shared responsibility and a key driver of academic success.
- Use your voice, influence, and services to encourage students and families to prioritize being present every day.
- Work alongside schools to address attendance challenges with empathy, coordination, and solutions.
- Support systems and strategies that remove barriers and create pathways for students to attend consistently.
