Core Functions and Responsibilities
Our office focuses on various functions, such as issuance of initial licenses, licensure renewals/advancements, endorsements, educational salary lane changes, and tuition reimbursement. We strive to empower our educators and play a part in facilitating their career success.
Non-Contracted, Supporting Personnel Employees
For non-contracted, supporting personnel employees, please contact the Maryland State Department of Education at 1-866-772-8922. The Certification Office is not authorized to complete evaluations, credit counts, add endorsements or accept official documentation for individuals who are non-contracted employees with Prince George’s County Public Schools. Certification regulations are subject to change without notice.

Renewal/Advancement Documents

- Items such as Professional Development Reports, Professional Development Plans (PDP) and Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP) may be uploaded under Continuing Education in your TEACH Dashboard.
Tests

- Tests may be uploaded when completing an Add Endorsement application in TEACH or submitting renewal or advancement documentation as a Conditional License holder.
