Vision

The vision of the ESSA and Title I Department is to support schools and families in fostering an innovative environment the inspires students to achieve their greatest potential and succeed globally.

Mission

The mission of the ESSA and Title I Department is to provide Title I communities with the funding and resources for academic achievement. Through strategic grant management and working closely with families and school partners, the ESSA and Title I Department will ensure that all students have equitable opportunities to success on a global scale.

Purpose

The purpose of Title I is to provide all children a significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps.

Core Services

  1. Provide support for designing a Title I program based on a comprehensive needs assessment.
  2. Provide and support activities to increase parent, family, and community engagement in order to bridge the gap between home, school, and community.
  3. Provide sound fiscal management to strengthen fiscal processes and guidance for better decision-making and more efficient operations to maximize grant resources.
