UPPER MARLBORO, MD –  Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) will host its first Family Institute Conference this weekend to promote family and community engagement throughout the school system.

Approximately 1,000 attendees are expected Saturday at Charles H. Flowers High School to participate hear from guest speakers Marian Wright Edelman, Children's Defense Fund founder and president, and actor-author Hill Harper.
