T-sunflower-sun-summer-yellow.jpgThe CTE - Interactive Media Production Program provides students the opportunity to explore graphic design, video production, audio engineering, and motion graphics using industry-standard Adobe software. Students will strengthen skills in photo editing, branding, and sound design at each phase of the program, building a professional portfolio to showcase their work. Students gain knowledge of industry-level equipment, software, and workflows necessary for a postsecondary pathway in graphic design, media, broadcasting, or animation.

Interactive Media Production

(3-year pathway)

The Interactive Media Production (IMP) program includes a strong foundation in arts and communication with particular emphasis on design, graphic and media communications, interactive technologies, and project development. Students will complete one foundation course (Principles of Art, Media and Communication), two advanced courses (Interactive Media Design I & II), and the Capstone. Interactive Media Production students gain experience in website development, computer graphics, digital media production, and project management. During the capstone course, students will develop a portfolio of their work and an opportunity to test for at least one of Adobe Creative Suite certifications. Graduates may also earn articulated college credit. Recommended Electives: AP Studio Art, Drawing, AP Studio 2D or 3D Design.
