The Springhill Lake Elementary School building is being replaced with a new two-story, 102,837-square-foot facility as part of the Blueprint Schools Phase II initiative. The project follows a public-private partnership (P3) model with a total budget of approximately $82 million. The new school uses a prototype design developed by Perkins Eastman to balance efficiency with site-specific customization. Construction is being led by MCN Build, with K. Dixon Architecture and Arcadis serving as the owner's representative.

Construction teams move forward with implementing the school’s design.

The architects for Phase II created two design options for the eight schools in this phase. Like in Phase I, using prototypes helps speed up construction and lower costs, so students and staff can enjoy updated facilities sooner. Each school will still have space to reflect its unique identity. The presentation below from Perkins Eastman explains the design choices. Take a look at the newest Blueprint School designs!
