Can I submit a proposal that falls outside the timeline?

Yes. Please don’t feel discouraged if the implementation of your project doesn’t fit perfectly with the incubator's timelines. Please note that we will also launch Cohort 2 during the summer/fall of 2025,  providing another opportunity to align your project with our schedule.

Do I need written approval from my supervisor before applying?

How many proposals can an individual submit?

We recommend submitting one proposal per cohort. However, if you have multiple ideas, you may submit up to four applications per cohort. Each submission required its own proposal.

Can I submit a proposal that needs funding?

What project outcomes will I need to share?

Examples of project outcomes that you will report on include implementation progress, lessons learned, measurable outcomes, and impacts on student performance.

Is this just for schools and classroom teachers?

No. All PGCPS staff are welcome to participate in this initiative.

Who can submit a proposal? Can I submit proposals as an individual or as a team?

All PGCPS staff can submit proposals. You may submit as an individual or as part of a team.

What type of proposal can be accepted?

The SP Innovation Incubator welcomes proposals that provide practical solutions that are simple, cost-free, quick to implement, equitable, and aligned with the District's Big Rocks priorities.

How long is the program?

The second cohort runs from October 2025 to June 2026.

How many proposals will be selected?

What happens after the proposals are selected?

If your proposal is selected, you will receive a notification email. You will then attend a brief orientation in late January to plan and schedule the implementation and testing of your project.

Can I continue working on my proposal after the program ends?

Yes, you are encouraged to continue developing and refining your proposal beyond the program’s duration.
