Understanding how your child’s school is doing just got easier. The Maryland School Report Card is a tool created to help families, educators, and communities get a clear picture of how each school is performing and where there's room to grow.

What Is the School Report Card?

Each school is given an overall score, a star rating (1 to 5 stars), and other detailed information to help families better understand school performance.

Why Does It Matter?

Not long ago, families had very little information about how schools were doing. Today, Maryland’s accountability system ensures that schools are held to the same standards statewide – and that every student’s progress counts.
