Help shape decisions that affect students and families! Applications for the Prince George’s County Public Schools Parent and Community Advisory
Council (PCAC) for the 2026–2027 school year are now open.

The PCAC advises the Board of Education and the Superintendent on matters impacting student achievement, family engagement, and community partnerships. Members serve as essential voices in shaping a more responsive and equitable educational experience.

We invite you to apply and serve a two-year term as a representative for your community.

SY26-27 Open PCAC Seats:

• District 4 (Bowie, Glenn Dale, Greenbelt, Westchester Park, and portions of Lanham-Seabrook and Upper Marlboro)
• District 5 (Bladensburg, Cheverly, Colmar Manor, Cottage City, Edmonston, Fairmount Heights, Glenarden, Landover, and Springdale)
• District 7 (District Heights, Bradbury/Boulevard Heights, Capitol Heights, Hillcrest Heights, Marlow Heights, Seat Pleasant, Suitland, and Morningside)
• District 8 (Andrews Air Force Base, Camp Springs, Clinton, Forest Heights, Fort Washington, Glassmanor, Oxon Hill, and Temple Hills)
• Civic/Community Representative
