Introducing Principal Keith A. Davenport

Greetings Friendly High School Community,

I am Keith Davenport and I am honored and excited to join this incredible community of dedicated educators and staff members as the principal of Friendly High School. 

Over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of working in various educational roles within Prince George’s County Public Schools. My journey in education has been guided by a deep commitment to fostering a nurturing and academically stimulating environment for all students. I firmly believe in the power of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, and I am eager to bring these values to Friendly High School.

I have always been passionate about being a part of a school culture that emphasizes inclusivity, respect, and academic excellence.  Thank you for allowing me to become a part of the Friendly High School family where we will continue to engage, endure, and excel academically while we foster and grow a community of caring individuals. As we embark on this new academic year, my primary goal is to work closely with each of you to build upon the strong foundation already in place at our school. I am committed to supporting our students, teachers, and staff in achieving their fullest potential and making Friendly High School a place where everyone feels valued and inspired.

In the coming weeks, I look forward to meeting students, staff, and parents and learning more about your experiences, aspirations, and ideas for our school. Together, we will continue to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment that prepares our students for future success.
