Welcome back! I hope this message finds you and your family healthy, rested, and ready for an exciting new school year. Whether you are returning to Cherokee Lane Elementary or joining our family for the very first time, we are thrilled to welcome you to our community for the 2026–2027 school year!
The start of a new school year brings renewed energy, promise, and opportunity. It is a wonderful time to reconnect with familiar faces, build new friendships, and set inspiring goals for the months ahead. Our dedicated teachers and staff have been working hard all summer to prepare vibrant classrooms and engaging lessons designed to inspire, empower, and support every child as they achieve success.
As we build upon our work as a community school, we are excited to continue offering impactful opportunities and resources for our students and families—including our ongoing food distributions, expanded after-school support programs, and enriching field trips. We remain steadfast in our commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every student can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Strong partnerships between home and school are vital to our students’ achievements. We encourage you to stay connected and involved throughout the year—whether by attending school events, joining our PTO, or simply keeping open communication with your child’s teacher via Class Dojo. Together, we can make this an extraordinary school year. We cannot wait to see our students’ smiling faces and hear the buzz of learning and laughter fill our hallways once again.
