Mandatory Uniform Dress Code Policy
In the spring of 2022, the parents of Apple Grove Elementary School voted to adopt a mandatory uniform dress code. The vote was accepted and the policy approved by the PGCPS Board of Education in accordance with Administrative Procedure Number 5152. All students enrolled in Apple Grove are now required to wear uniforms pictured below. Students are expected to be in uniform on a daily basis. Non-compliance of the dress code policy follows the procedures outlined below.

It is important to note that:
- Any jewelry worn should be small and age appropriate. Any student wearing large, cumbersome, dangly jewelry or accessories will be asked to remove said items.
- Students will not be permitted to wear coats or jackets during the school day except in the case of a heating emergency.
- Shoes or tennis shoes/sneakers must adhere to the above mentioned policy.
- A violation of the uniform policy will result in a notification to the parents in accordance with the PGCPS compliance policy as noted above.
