Student Support Network

Our Student Support Network (SSN) consists of specialist staff members who can provide additional support for students.  The SSN specialists serve as trusted and accessible resources within the school community. They offer a safe and respectful environment where students can speak openly about personal concerns, academic challenges, or interpersonal conflicts. They assist students who may need someone to talk to when they are feeling overwhelmed, experiencing difficulties with coursework, or navigating issues with teachers or peers.

In this role, the staff member listens actively, provides guidance, and helps students develop constructive strategies to address their concerns. They may also help facilitate communication between students and teachers, support conflict resolution between peers, and connect students with appropriate school resources when further assistance is needed. Their goal is to promote student well-being, encourage positive relationships, and support academic success by ensuring that students feel heard, supported, and empowered.

The first step to connect with an SSN specialist is to fill out the school's referral form.
