State and federal funds were provided to Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) to address the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on education. Accordingly, PGCPS will submit a report to the Governor, the General Assembly, and the Accountability and Implementation Board (AIB) on or before December 1 each year in 2021 through 2023. The report must detail PGCPS’ use of federal funding and state funding received to implement the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future, including a description of the amount of funding spent on student instruction.
Each report includes the use of grant funds for technology, reopening schools, wraparound services, instructional support, and emergency relief.
